Welcome to a guided tour focusing on the connection between tattooing and the decolonization of the body.
The exhibition TATAU - Freedom | Identity | Memories is a photo exhibition that celebrates women's tattooing traditions from different times and cultures, including Amazigh, Kurdish, Maori, Balkan, Inuit, First Nations and Sápmi. Here, stories about one of the world's oldest art forms come together: the tattoo as a carrier of freedom, memory and belonging.
