There are nearly 8 billion people on Earth, and before us, many other people have walked on this planet. Each of us has contemplated death in different ways. We have given meaning to death in various ways and created rituals to deal with grief and wonder.
In the exhibition "Existence," we will address these questions through different cultures from various parts of the world.
You will, among other things, get to experience the mourning ritual of the Aka people, study a mummy case, and a special doll from the Hadza people. The exhibition is small but will grow over the next two years as we add more existential themes. You are welcome to join us on this journey.
The "Existence" exhibition opens gradually. It's about change, and it will change.
