Mexican Ofrenda at the autumn party at the museum 2025

Mexican Cemetery with Ofrenda

An important part of the celebration Día de Muertos is building the ofrenda, a memorial altar which is built to honor the people that have died. In many Mexican cemeterys, during Día de Muertos, familys are gathered and they bring flowers, candles and food.

During the autumn break you will be welcomed by 3000 flowers, butterflies, beautiful graves and a ofrenda, when you enter the installation created by the Mexican Association in Gothenburg.
