Världskulturmuseet (the Museum of World Culture) is one of four Museums of World Culture in Sweden. The museum is part of the government agency National Museums of World Culture.
The aim of the Museum of World Culture is to function as a platform for dialogues and reflections, where many different voices can be heard and controversial and contentious topics discussed - a place where people can feel at home and reach across borders.
The objects and artefacts that are kept at the Museums of World Culture come from every corner of the world and represent many thousand years of human creations and creativity. By maintaining a dialogue with our visitors, we hope to embrace the diversity of our world and thus, contribute to a sustainable global development.
