In the exhibition Trafficking at the Museum of World Culture, the current global trade in humans is put into focus. It is an accelerating business mainly exploiting women and children for sexual purposes. The exhibition shows strong personal stories, art works, documentary film, photography and private objects, testifying to inequalities, power relations, exploitation and profiting from peoples dreams of a better future. The visitor will be confronted with chilling facts on trade routes, markets and demand - a brutal reality which calls for counteraction and resistance.
